My name is Tara Bauman and I am fundraising for my cousin’s son, Aiden Hickman.

My cousin, Chris Hickman, and his wife, Layken, took Aiden, 11 years old, to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital near Atlanta, GA. last Thursday after multiple Doctors were at a loss for a diagnosis. Aiden was admitted.

What started out as small blisters on Aiden’s hands and feet turned into pus-filled blisters. They are not healing and the spots are completely raw. He has been unable to walk for a few weeks now but we are hoping PT will be able to help with this very soon.

The Doctors at Scottish Rite are not sure what it is, but they are thinking it is a rare disease called EPIDERMOLYSIS BULLOSA. Biopsies were performed today.

Please help this family with expenses. They live in Central GA and have four other children that are staying with family while Chris works and Layken is at the hospital with Aiden 2 1/2 hours away from home.

I decided to start this fundraiser because Chris and Layken never ask for help. They are a loving, devoted couple that have been blind-sided by this life changing news. I feel it is only appropriate to help those that never ask but could certainly use it in a time like this.
