Let me tell you about a former foster that needs your help

Cookie was an owner surrender, discarded by her family after 7 years. Her whole world was turned upside down. She landed in my home and stayed with me for over 3 months, and honestly, I thought she might never leave because of how good of a dog she was. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months… until I needed my eyebrows done.

That’s when I met Agnes, and the rest is history. I knew right away Cookie ended up exactly where she was meant to be

Recently, Cookie started urinating more frequently, so Agnes took her to the vet thinking it was something minor, possibly a UTI.

Instead, she received devastating news. Cookie has a very large, inoperable mass on her bladder. There is no cure.

Despite this heartbreaking diagnosis, Agnes is doing everything she can to give Cookie more time. She has made the decision to move forward with chemotherapy and radiation in hopes of extending her life, even if it’s only for a little while longer. Every extra day together means everything to her.

If you know Agnes, you know she is one of the most selfless people out there. She would give the clothes off her back to help someone else, no questions asked.

Over the past few years, Agnes has gone through unimaginable loss. She lost both of her parents within a short time of each other and had to travel abroad twice to help handle everything after their passing. Through it all, Cookie has been her constant, her comfort, and her family. She isn’t just a pet, she’s her whole world… her “fur child,” as Agnes calls her.
