Help Support Adam Argona in His Fight Against Leukemia
Hello everyone,
My name is James Cronk, and I’m raising funds for one of the kindest, most selfless people I’ve ever met — my dear friend and brother at heart, Adam Argona, owner of A&S Jigs.
Adam has recently received devastating news — he’s been diagnosed with leukemia. Because of existing health challenges, he lives on a fixed income and relies on disability. The cost of testing, treatments, and medications has quickly added up, creating financial strain for his family. On top of that, Adam can no longer make his handcrafted fishing jigs — something he’s well-known for throughout the Treasure Coast fishing community, and a passion that helped bring in a little extra income.
Your donations will go directly toward:
• Covering medical treatments, medications, and hospital bills
• Supporting his family with basic living expenses during this difficult time
• Helping offset the loss of income from his jig-making work
Even the smallest contribution makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping Adam and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I met Adam around 2011 while teaching a fly-tying class at Bass Pro Shops. What started as a simple friendship quickly grew into something much deeper. Over the years, Adam has become like family to me. During one of the hardest times of my life, he opened his home to me and my daughter without hesitation. That’s just the kind of person Adam is — always putting others first, no matter his own situation.
Adam has always been a man of service. He was a firefighter during 9/11, risking his own safety to help others in a time of national tragedy. That same courage and compassion have guided him throughout his life. Whether it’s helping veterans with the “X22 organization” and other first responders along the way, giving back to the fishing community, or lending a hand to anyone in need, Adam is the kind of person who never turns away someone who’s struggling.
Now, it’s our turn to help him.
Adam has touched so many lives with his generosity, kindness, and strength. Let’s come together as a community and show him the same love and support he’s always shown others.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart,
James Cronk
