Hello friends, my name is Marita Thomas. My fiance, Matthew Velez, and I lost everything we owned in the Midtown Park Apartment Fire in Columbus, Georgia this morning. We escaped with the clothes on our backs, our dog Blackjack, and our lives.  My fiance and I are current students at Columbus State University.
