In the Winter of 2025, leading into the new Year of 2026, we had a blizzard/snowstorm so blisteringly cold where i live, we bought extra heaters in the house to compensate. That, and with the fact that we also had our gas cut off in during then, now our power bill has spiked up to an outrageous 876 dollars, just to keep lights on and the fridge running. Though i am in between work or jobs, I have already applied to several locations and got an interview at one just last Friday, the 17th of this April. My mom can barely work due to the major rheumatoid arthritis that she has been diagnosed with for some years now, and though i have had to only help now and then, I have to step more than ever and help with what i can, but with my current position... I am in no place to provide the funds unless the job calls me back and hires me, or I find means of employment elsewhere. Donating to this GoFundMe will help provide us with lighting, a working refrigerator and freezer to keep food, internet so I can continue job searching, and hot water for showers.
