In the midst of chaos, Sandra Patton, a dedicated caregiver for Comfort Keepers, stood fearlessly beside her client, Richard, while others desperately tried to save them both from the flames. Her courage, loyalty, and love for the people she cares for are nothing short of heroic.

Sandra’s bravery that day is a reflection of who she has always been. Before joining Comfort Keepers in Fort Myers, Florida, she served her community in Ohio as a firefighter and advanced EMT. Her life has been devoted to protecting, rescuing, and caring for others—whether in uniform or as the compassionate caregiver she is today.

Sandra met Richard and his wife, Ann, through her work at Comfort Keepers, and quickly became not just a caregiver, but family. Ann, along with everyone who knows Sandra, calls her an angel. Her dedication goes far beyond the job description—she provides comfort, dignity, and unwavering support to those in her care.
