Help a Single Mom Heal Without Worry
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
I am reaching out on behalf of my little sister, Leda, a single mother and self-employed hairstylist in a rural town who has always worked tirelessly to provide for her family. As many of you know, being self-employed means there is no paid sick leave or safety net when unexpected hardships arise.
Recently, my sister faced a severe health crisis and has been hospitalized for a week. While we’re still unsure when she will be released, it is clear that she won’t be able to return to work immediately. Without her income, the financial strain is mounting, and we are deeply concerned about her ability to keep a roof over her kids’ heads, the utilities on, and food on the table.
We have been doing everything we can as a family to support her, but unfortunately, it’s not quite enough. That’s why we’re turning to the kindness of others to help ensure that her bills are covered for a couple of months, allowing her to focus on recovery without the added burden of financial stress.
If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount, it would make a world of difference. Your support will help ensure that when she comes home, she can focus on healing rather than worrying about eviction notices or the lights going out.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any assistance you can provide. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this message with others would also be incredibly helpful.
Thank you
