Hello! This summer, I am volunteering with Little Sisters Fund (LSF) in Nepal. This non-profit organization helps create opportunities for underprivileged girls to attend and stay in school. Through a holistic approach, including 12 programs beyond the scholarship to attend school, girls gain access to mentoring, mobile libraries, menstrual kits, and more. While I am here for 2 months, I am developing future programming focusing on climate change and mental health, digitizing profiles of new Little Sisters, visiting schools, and assisting with other tasks around the office.

One of the most meaningful parts of my experience so far has been interacting with the girls during school visits and letter-writing events. This has allowed me to meet so many smart and sweet girls, and it's inspired me to try to sponsor a Little Sister. The money raised here will go directly to sponsor one young girl's education from elementary to post-secondary in Nepal.
