Help Support a Father of Five After a Year of Trauma

Donation protected
This year has brought unimaginable pain, trauma, and financial hardship to my son Aaron— a devoted father of five, a hardworking provider, and someone who has always pushed forward no matter what life throws at him. Today, he needs our support more than ever.

A Year That Changed Everything

What started as a fun weekend in June turned into a nightmare. While spending time with his son, a dirt bike accident sliced his foot open, requiring 48 stitches and keeping him out of work for a month. Just as he healed enough to return to work, life took another turn.

Only a week later, he was diagnosed with diverticulitis, a hereditary and dangerous condition. He was rushed into a 90-minute emergency surgery. Thankfully, he made it through — until another tragedy struck.
While recovering, a nurse attempted to drain his JP drain but accidentally flushed the fluid back into his body, sending him into septic shock.

Because of storm surges at the beginning of July, the hospital he was in had no power to perform the emergency surgery he desperately needed. He was immediately transferred to another hospital, where he underwent a 9.5-hour life-saving surgery that left him with a massive incision and 26 new staples. He spent nearly the entire month of July in the hospital, unable to work once again.

After months of fighting, he was finally cleared to return to work on September 3rd. He was ready to get back to life, back to his children, and back to stability.

But fate had one more devastating blow.

The Accident That Changed Everything
On November 5th, after a full day of work at the barbershop, he headed out to pick up his girlfriend’s daughter from daycare. On his way to his car, he was struck on his motorcycle by a drunk, unlicensed driver.

The impact was catastrophic.

He was thrown from his bike and rushed to the emergency room, where doctors discovered he had lost four toes. They attempted a 6.5-hour surgery to reattach them — only one could be reattached, and even that toe later died. He was then transferred to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for a free-flap skin graft to save what remained of his foot. Today, he has one remaining toe and faces a long, painful recovery.

A Father of Five With Mounting Bills and No Ability to Work
My son has spent months of this year in hospitals and operating rooms. He has endured trauma after trauma, setback after setback, all while trying to remain strong for his five children.

He is an incredibly hard-working man who has always provided for his family — but now, he physically cannot. The bills from multiple surgeries, hospital stays, missed work, transportation, and daily living expenses have piled beyond what he can manage.

Why We’re Asking for Help
Your donations will go directly toward:
    •    Unpaid medical bills from multiple emergency surgeries
    •    Rent, utilities, and essential living expenses while he cannot work
    •    Supporting his five children through this difficult time
    •    Transportation and recovery needs once he returns home

This situation is urgent and deeply emotional. No one could have prepared for a year like this. We are asking from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can give — whether it’s $5 or $50 — to help him get through this nightmare and focus on healing.
