Help a Resilient Family Rebuild After Devastating Flooding – Again

As many of you may know, a family very dear to us has been displaced by severe flash flooding on July 14th, 2025 for the second time. This time, the damage has been especially hard-hitting, as they not only lost their home again(where they had planned to host and celebrate our senior graduate on july 19th) they have also exhausted any/all savings while rebuilding from Hurricane Ida.

Margie Palmieri, Shawn Demetrician, and Lena & Steven Maxfield need our help.

Our devoted Nan and uncle, who are the primary caregivers for two amazing grandchildren (ages 18 and 14) & dog Buster who's a rescue himself, are doing everything they can to hold the family together.

While everyone is safe & unharmed, and we all remain grateful for that,

These beautiful people who are like family to so many of us have already endured more than their fair share of loss and hardship, and now they are once again starting over.
