For over 21 years, Wanda Hunt has been a dedicated and compassionate member of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center family. Whether working long hours to care for patients or going the extra mile to support her colleagues, Wanda has always shown up with heart, humility, and strength.

Now, she needs our help.

Recently, Wanda's home was tragically impacted by a house fire. While the flames were eventually extinguished, the aftermath left behind extensive water damage and flooding, destroying nearly all of her personal belongings. From clothing and furniture to irreplaceable personal items, nearly everything was lost.

Despite this life-altering event, Wanda has continued to show incredible resilience. But the road ahead is long, and rebuilding from such loss is not something anyone should have to do alone.

We are reaching out to our community — friends, colleagues, and anyone moved by this story — to help raise funds so Wanda can begin to replace what was lost and find stability during this incredibly difficult time.
