A courageous mother of small children is in the greatest fight of her life — escaping domestic violence and rebuilding a life of safety, dignity, and healing for herself and her children. My name is Jess, and I am elevating a dear friend and her dire situation.
For years, this mother has been the one holding space for others — offering care, compassion, and advocacy for people navigating their darkest seasons. Now, she’s the one in need. She’s reaching out to us, her community, to help her create a safe, joyful, and free life for her and her little ones.
Right now, she is carrying everything — literally and emotionally — while fighting immense financial and legal hurdles with no safety net beneath her. After sacrificing everything for her family’s wellbeing, and as a result of one form of abuse endured, she is starting over from nothing, with nothing but fierce love for her children and determination to break free from a life of fear.
But she cannot do it alone.
