Help Support Solstice & The Veil!

Hello, S+V friends. I know we aren't the first, nor will we likely be the last, small business to make a post like this. It is our passion and joy to serve our community and we need your help! Solstice & The Veil is struggling and we are doing everything we can to continue to be here when you need us.

We've spent the last (almost) 3 years dedicated to building community, and offering a retail space focused on the idea that Magic is everywhere and should be accessible to everyone. We've laughed and cried with you, created and brain-stormed, healed and celebrated all our collective wins. We hear so often that Solstice is more than a store; it is an ENERGY. A safe and welcoming place for anyone on any point in their path. We are here to support you all in your struggles and joys, your growth and expansion, your revelations and epiphanies, and, well, everything you are willing to share with us!

Within the first year, Maeve had a fall and was out for several months healing. Our people rallied around and helped support her in so many ways. We thank you so much for that! As a single mom, she had to make the hard decision earlier this year to step away from the day-to-day of the store to support herself and her kids. It was not easy, but it had to happen, so now Amy is manning the store daily (with some help from Scott/Wolfgang), and Maeve is here on the weekends as she is able. We're not to the point of being able to hire anyone, yet, but hope to grow to that point in the next year or two.

As you all well know, the last year has not been easy with climbing costs and higher prices. We certainly are aware that ALL of us are feeling this pressure. Luckily, our rent has not increased greatly, but other costs certainly have, and we need a little assistance from our community to get some breathing room. Any donations will help us with bills, expenses, and restocking inventory for all of your favorite things, locally created items, as well as any new and exciting things we may find. We will continue to host our regular events and classes to provide a space for learning and a spotlight for local artisans.

We appreciate and love all of you in our magical community. We cannot exist without all of you, and are blessed beyond measure. YOU are the magic. Never forget that. Together, we will continue to make our magic!
