Thank you for visiting this page. I met the Busa family back when they were in the Greater Pittsburgh region around 2014. Even though I only knew them for a handful of years in-person, I have followed their incredible life story over the years and I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to share about Sean and the Busa family.

Sean was an amazing man of God, a true child of Jesus. In all his interactions with me and others, he organically became a mentor to us younger folk but he did so in such a humble manner that you never realized that he was guiding you through his experiences and his understanding of the Word of God. He was a true trailblazer, paving the way for ministry and ALWAYS giving others opportunities to serve and shine. He did not care about the limelight, but his focus was only to point people to Jesus.

My brother and I used to lead worship at a church in Monaca, PA (about 30 minutes north west of Pittsburgh) and seeing the need at our church, he volunteered his family to help. So the very next week, the whole family rolled in with a car full of instruments around 7 in the morning. They had drums that his son Dustin played so excellently, Rebecca sang and played the piano, Sean played bass and they got help from Ariel  to come in and help lead worship whenever I could not make it. Their whole family had a heart for the land that they were placed in, and I am proud to call them my friends. Zac was a young child back then, but so well disciplined when the rest of the family was actively ministering to God’s people!

The Busa family also started a home for women going through a rough time due to abuse/neglect/other reasons. But this “home” was part of their house in Hookstown. They were training these women to pick up the necessary skills to survive on their own when they would eventually leave the “home” but more than anything, they were sharing the love of Jesus to a group of people that would have no one to turn to, except the Busa’s. The Bible calls us to help the poor and needy, and the Busa’s are living proof of that Christ-like love that can only come from being called by God to love others unconditionally.

Once they planted their church in Moon, they gave opportunities to people other churches had shunned or ignored and helped them understand God’s unconditional love despite what they may have done in the past. They used to do community events and hosted concerts with famous bands coming in to headline- ALL to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

After they moved to the Southern California region, the Busa family helped establish not one, but two churches (one in Rosarito, Mexico!) and won many souls for Jesus! They have a real burden for the community that they have been placed in, and currently host two house churches that help people in the Imperial Beach and Rosarito communities.

Why am I telling you all this? I just want to testify of the love of Jesus that this family has shown to me and MANY others, all across the globe. Dustin and his beautiful young family have been serving Jesus in Africa forgetting all their comforts here in the United States so they can fulfill the calling that God has placed on their life. This is just my experience with the Busa’s, I’m sure you have many other experiences with this wonderful family.

1. Sean’s medical expenses over the last few weeks that would need to be paid out of pocket after insurance.
2. Sean’s funeral service
3. Rebecca will need to get some time-off to spend with her family to rest and recharge before getting back to their ministry on the West Coast. Your donation will help cover the cost of travel and time off from her schedule.
4. Most importantly, your giving will help fund the house churches for two months in Mexico and one month in San Diego. Real Life Church and Iglesia Vida Verdadera will need your help and support to carry on Sean’s incredible legacy, which is a life fully given away in service of others!
