Help Support Matt's Recovery
Donation protected
There are not enough good things to say about Matt Running. One thing we all know is that he is one of the most genuine, warmhearted souls you will meet. Unfortunately, Matt was in a freak accident on January 29th. He sustained severe head and brain trauma and was immediately placed in a medically induced coma. Matt is now in the fight of his life and needs everyone fighting alongside him.
Knowing how strong Matt is, we all expected him to be right back on his feet sooner rather than later, but sadly things have not gone as we hoped. Currently, in the Montreal hospital, surrounded by his parents, Kathy and Dion and sister, Kate, Matt’s condition continues to be unpredictable. The Running family now needs everyone’s support to continue this fight and get Matt back home safely. Along with being unable to work and the likelihood of continued rehabilitation therapy and transportation to get Matt back home to Kingston, the last thing we need Matt or his family to stress about are the financials. We don’t know how long Matt will be in the hospital, but we do know that his family and friends will be there for every step, whatever it takes.
We are asking for your help. As recovery from brain trauma can be unpredictable, Matt’s battle may go on for many months. Any donations will go directly to the Running’s to ensure they can get Matt the best treatment and care possible. We all want Matty home as soon as possible, and anything you can give - large or small - will have a significant impact.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you
