My friend Kelly Koontz suffered a terrible accident while riding her road bike last week.

She was struck by a driver going 50 mph. Kelly ended up in the hospital with a concussion, broken neck, back, leg, and ankle and the tendon in her foot had to be reattached. She has a long recovery ahead but has a positive mindset and is determined to fully recover and get back to what she loves doing most.

I met Kelly by having her do hair and makeup in my studio and I know she is a talented and passionate creative who loves making her clients look and feel amazing. Unlike traditional employees who might have paid sick leave or disability benefits, creative entrepreneurs rely on their own ability to work to generate income. During Kelly's recovery, she will be taking time away from her job (and also her normal income.) So, until she is back on her feet doing what she loves, let's help her out!!
