Hello, I am Super Logan's aunt and I am setting up a fundraiser for my sweet, funny, incredible nephew Logan, who, after 7 years of battling cancer and the severe after effects of his Proton Radiation treatment, has had a mass found inside of his brain stem after having an MRI the last week of September 2022.

7 years ago, my 5 year old, healthy nephew, collapsed and was brought to the hospital. The doctors had found a brain tumor that appeared to be inside of his brain stem and was given 3 days to live and a zero percent chance of survival. Logan's parents got a second opinion and against the doctors orders, Logan was transfered to the Children's hospital, where the doctor believed he was going to be able to remove a small amount of the tumor to extend his life. After a very terrifying surgery, Logan's doctor came out with a big smile on his face and broke the news that he was able to fully remove his tumor. Logan has been fighting ever since and has overcome things the doctors thought were impossible.

7 years down the road, just one month ago, Logan was rushed to the hospital and this sweet boy, who began to believe he was truly cancer free and was able to live a normal life, was told they had found a mass inside of his brain stem. How heartbreaking and so terrifying for a kid to hear, especially after fighting for so long, to hear he is back to the beginning.

The doctors believe Logan has one of two diagnosis: 1. His ependymoma tumor (a very aggressive cancer) has returned and this time it is inside of his brain stem. This would mean that the doctor will not be able to operate, radiation treatments will not work, and everyone in this family will be devastated. The second option is that Logan has something called radiation necrosis, which is still very scary, but he has already fought this before and was able to overcome it for the time being.

Logan goes in for his first MRI, on Tuesday Nov. 29, which is the first time since they found the mass in his brain stem at the hospital in Salt Lake City. He has been doing the treatment for necrosis since he was released from the hospital in September, which includes steroids and hyperbaric oxygen therapy every day. If the mass has shrunk, it's a good sign that this is necrosis and not a tumor, which is the best case scenario of our two options.

Logan also has an appointment with a doctor he has worked with over the years, at Stanford University, in the middle of December. As a family, we all believe Logan's best chance is to get to Stanford after his MRI, and work with the world renowned team of doctors there.

We are setting up this fundraiser for the Green family to help them with the tough times that they've experienced over the last month and also to help with the future expenses, especially being so close to the holidays. Not only do they have a tremendous amount of medical bills and an upcoming trip to Stanford in California for Logan, but unfortunately the family has lost their source of income due to the demands of Logan's treatment schedule. Things have been really hard on this family to say the least.

Thank you so much for reading this and for your donations, you have no idea how grateful our whole family is for your kindness ❤️ we are also asking for big prayers for our Super Logan and the trials him, his parents, and siblings have ahead.
