I'm Steve DiGiacomo, my friends call me SunnyD, my family calls me Uncle Stinky, I'm a television engineer, musician, comedian, therapist and I live on my sailboat. For 32 years I worked on television shows, NASCAR, Super Bowls, lots of different sports. I engineered tv trucks, I trained young television engineers and I helped bring you some very exciting sporting events. I was the the man behind the curtain.

Recently my very smart doctor told me that I have a very big prostrate. When I arrived at the hospital, my kidneys had failed, I needed a blood transfusion, I had a stroke, and now I'm on dialysis every other day. Oh and I'm shopping around for a transplantable kidney.

I need some help.

My life changed overnight. I had to say goodbye to my 32 year television career and most of my friends that I worked with regularly. I really miss my coworkers. And I miss my tv trucks.

But I accept my situation and I'm keeping my head high.
