Help Sunny and Peter acquire a Mobility Vehicle
Please help Sunny Jacob and Peter Pringle with the acquisition of a Wheelchair Mobility Vehicle for Sunny, as the vehicle they currently have is now unsuitable for trips for medical appointments and care from their home in Co. Galway to Dublin. They are both pensioners and the cost of such a vehicle is not possible without your help.
Here's what Peter Pringle relayed to us " Sunny has mobility problems, so we need to buy a wheelchair accessible car. I am her carer and driver. She can drive an automatic, so that is what we need. A new car costs €30,000. With a swivel seat for sunny adds €2000. Trading in my old car should bring the cost down about €5000. So, we need to aim for about €27,000, which is about $32,000.
Sunny Jacobs and Peter Pringle their story:
Sunny Jacobs and Peter Pringle, both of whom were sentenced to death for crimes they did not commit. Sunny was released in 1992 after spending 17 years incarcerated in Florida, and Peter in Ireland in 1995 after 15 years in prison.
They met in 1998, fell in love, got married and became part of each other’s path to healing and happiness, using the practices of yoga, meditation and prayer – the same methods that each of them had used in prison to help them survive their ordeal.
In 2012 they began welcoming exonerees into their home.
Shortly thereafter in 2014, Sunny Jacob and Peter Pringle ,established a non-profit where they were able to extend their assistance more broadly, using a unique holistic approach encompassing physical, mental and spiritual healing and ongoing support.
“Peter and I were both wrongly convicted and sentenced to death. Separately, we found that healing and forgiveness were the keys to a happy life afterwards. Now, through our foundation we are able to share our happiness and healing with many others.” – Sunny Jacobs
