We are Rebeca and Scott, owners of East Side Pot Shop, and we are doing a fundraiser for our dear friend Sun-Jue who recently had a bad accident. We have gotten to know Sun-Jue over the years as she's been an integral part of our studio environment, making lovely pottery and sharing her vibrant energy. Sun-Jue's dog Oskar and our dog Chowder are friends, and SJ and her partner Karl will watch Chowder for us when we're in need. Well, now Sun-Jue is in need...

On Monday, October 25th 2021, Sun-Jue and Karl were out walking Oskar and Chowder. Suddenly and by surprise, Oskar took off, taking Sun-Jue with him, and causing her to take a bad fall. Sun-Jue suffered open compound fractures to her ankle, and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. She underwent surgery, spent the night in the hospital, and is finally back home, resting. A simple morning walk with dogs turned a lovely day into a horrible nightmare...

Sun-Jue unfortunately does not have health insurance, and she could really use our help. Funds donated to this GoFundMe will go directly to Sun-Jue to help pay her medical bills, and hopefully help pay for physical therapy in the future.
