My friend, Sunita, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and would appreciate anything that will help her family during this time. Her daughter, Crystal, is in my Girl Scout troop. Sunita isn't going to be able to work much and will have medical expenses as well as your every day household expenses. About 3 weeks ago she had some spots/lesions come up on her legs and arms which were biopsied and she received final pathology report showing high grade non Hodgkins lymphoma gamma delta t cell lymphoma. It is a very rare cancer. Jerry and the kids are having a really hard time with all of this. Sunita said, "I put on my strong face for them but at 43 years old did not think I would ever be thinking that I would be told that looking at 1 to 2 years would be hopeful. I'm asking everyone for prayers and to pray as hard as anyone can pray please. I'm ok with anyone sharing this information because the more people praying the better. Please keep my kids in your prayers." Updated: "The oncologist called and apparently the subtype of cancer is rarer than originally thought. It is NK T cell lymphoma so now scheduled to have an MRI this week and PET SCAN next week to see if it has spread to any other spots. Thank you to everyone and their prayers. This caught me completely off guard but we will fight this with everything I have. "
