Help Sunday Mancini Breathe: Support Her Lung Battle

Help Sunday Breathe Again
Our beloved Sunday Mancini has been fighting for her life since April 9th, when she was placed on a ventilator due to double pneumonia. She remained heavily sedated and on the ventilator for about four weeks. After many ups and downs, she recently underwent emergency surgery to be placed on an ECMO machine, which is now keeping her alive by supporting her oxygen levels. She also has a tracheostomy connected to a ventilator. Sunday is currently on full life support, as her lungs are severely and permanently damaged, and she can no longer breathe on her own.
Doctors are certain that her lungs will not recover, and she will need a lung transplant to survive. The next step is to place her on the transplant list. Due to the severity of her condition, she will be at the top of the list, and we are praying she receives a new lung within days. Sunday faces a long and difficult journey ahead—extended time in the ICU followed by several months in a lung rehabilitation center. Her life will be forever changed after the transplant, and her recovery will be a constant battle.
Sunday is a loving, hardworking single mom to her young son, Lars. She has so much life left to live, and right now, she needs our help more than ever.
Your donation will allow her to focus on healing, support her son during this incredibly difficult time, and give them both a chance to return to a normal life.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Please donate if you can, and share her story.
