Sameer Tawalbeh was a kind,  fun loving, adventurous soul. Always positive, always smiling, and so full of love and light. Tragedy struck on Tuesday evening when his family and friends were notified that he went missing near Kern River in Bakersfield, California and presumed dead. The family is working closely with the local Sheriff’s department and officials, as a search and Rescue team has been dispatched. They are hoping and actively working to recover the body in order finally put Sameer to a peaceful rest. Unfortunately due to COVID regulations, almost all of his family is abroad and cannot be here to support.  This devastating tragedy has brought upon a lot of unexpected expenses for the family, especially his sister Bothaina Tawalbeh, who is having to navigate this on her own with the help of loved ones.  We humbly request a donation (of any amount)to help the family raise money to bear the costs for the  ongoing search efforts, transportation of the body and funeral services, during this heart-wrenching time.
