Thank you for helping us reach our $1,500 goal to Replace Our Stolen Water Pump. We now would like to build a secure structure around it to protect this from happening again and increased our goal.

Sun Rays Open School is an educational institute in Tanzania that accepts and supports orphans and underprivileged kids. The school's mission is to break the cycle of poverty in the country by providing an education that leads to full time employment.

The school’s water pump, a vital resource for our students and agricultural activities, has recently been stolen. This pump was essential in supplying water to the school and supporting our student-led vegetable farming project.

The stolen pump, valued at USD $1,500, had been serving us faithfully since 2017, thanks to the generous support of the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania. We now are facing a serious challenge due to the lack of water at the school.
