Who Are We?

Hello! We are Summit Street A Cappella! We’re a TTBB Vocal Group from Eastern Michigan University. A little background on us, we were founded in 2018, looking for more opportunities to sing in a competitive setting. Since then we’ve competed for 4 years in our regional ICCA’s (International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella) and this past year came home with the award for Best Vocal Percussion thanks to one of our alum.

Why Are We Doing This?

The reason why we’re raising money are for two major projects of ours, the first is to raise money for us and the two other A Cappella Groups on our wonderful campus to get a new sound system for us to use. The components of which are new speakers, a soundboard, and all other bells and whistles needed to take our music to the next level!

The second reason is that this year we are looking to professionally record and master our Second Studio Album, the first, Titled “Summit Street: Maroon” was released in 2021 and can be heard on almost all streaming services. And we were hoping to bring our group’s new sound to the studio and record another album with all new songs and all new voices!

That’s where you come in!

Tackling such big projects requires funding to do so and while we’ve gone to organizations on our college campus, due to the nature of our group and our goals, we sadly weren’t able to allocate funding in that way. Our goal may seem big but I promise you each and every donation is greatly appreciated in letting us take our group to the next level!
