Hi everyone! If you do not know me my name is Summer Tigney. I am currently enrolled at Cal State Northridge working to attain my degree in Screenwriting.

I started at CSUN back in 2020 during the pandemic where I had to attend remotely. That sucked! Once the lockdown was lifted in my Sophomore year I was able to go to campus for the first time to continue my studies and was excited to start a new phase of my life. However shortly after I fell incredibly ill both physically and mentally and was forced to relocate out of state to be with family while I got the help I needed. During that time I’d been diagnosed with bipolar II, Major Depression and generalized anxiety disorder. This coupled with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia and colitis left me emotionally and physically defeated. I had many days of pain and frustration but even so my lowest point was yet to come. In December of 2022 I had been suffering from suicidal ideation and knew then I needed serious help. Over the last couple of years I’ve had steady visits with my doctors and started medication to alleviate my symptoms. Once stable I resumed my education remotely but have been unable to complete due to my degree's hands on nature that requires students to attend in person. I have spent the last couple of years studying, recovering and getting back on my feet to return to California and the time has finally come!

Over the last month or so I have been preparing for my return as I was recently offered a mid-level position as an Operations Specialist with MegaPixel in Valencia and I have 2 weeks to relocate. As you may know moving can be incredibly expensive, especially when relocating states. I am reaching out to ask for your help to get me back to California with the main goal of finishing my degree within the next calendar year.
