Please Help Summer Recover After a Terrifying Work Accident

On October 27th, my sister, Summer, was involved in a serious accident while working. She was driving a large water truck when it rolled over, ejecting her from the vehicle. It’s truly a miracle that she survived and her injuries weren’t more severe. However she is still in significant pain with numerous injuries and broken bones and is facing a long recovery ahead.

While we are incredibly thankful she’s alive, this accident has turned her world upside down. She will be off work for an undetermined amount of time, and it’s still unclear what costs will or won’t be covered by workers’ compensation. Unfortunately, that means she’s left to manage lost wages and medical bills on her own while she focuses on healing.

Anyone who knows Summer knows how hardworking and independent she is. Asking for help doesn’t come easy to her, but right now, she needs our support more than ever.
