Our family is heartbroken. I am creating this fundraiser for my sister, Summer, my brother-in-law, Nathan, and their family after the tragic loss of their oldest son, David. On August 4th, David made a decision that tragically ended his life dealing with battles unseen and unknown and all of us are still in shock trying to process this unimaginable pain. David was about to start his senior year and would have turned 19 next month. He was the sweetest, kindest young man, incredibly smart, and a true history buff. He loved Jesus, and he was deeply loved by his family and everyone who knew him. There are no words for the heartbreak of losing a child, and especially their firstborn.

Summer and Nathan are hardworking parents who have been raising their family of five children with so much love and faith. They never imagined they would be facing the need to bury their son, and asking for help is not something that comes easily. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for support to help with funeral expenses and to ease some of the burden on this family as they walk through the hardest time of their lives.
