This beautiful little girl is Summer. She’s a bright, caring, loving, sweet little girl that’s had a really rough week. Unfortunately, last week her dad, Bob, had to rush her off to the hospital with appendicitis. Not knowing how bad it would really be until they got there, she had surgery to remove her appendix. Come to find out, it’s worse than expected, so she’s been in the hospital for a week now without being able to eat solid food or liquids. Summer's dad, Bob, is a single father who cares for Summer. That means Bob is out of work until she’s better. It is unknown just yet how much longer Summer will be in the hospital as they just put in a PICC line today so her body can get some nutrition.

We, as her Girl Scout troop (7164), are reaching out to anyone and everyone that can help this great man and sweet little girl stay on their feet and continue to feel supported through this tough time in their lives. Any help is greatly appreciated.
