Help Summayyah Finish Junior Year at Spelman
Donation protected
My name is Summayyah, and I am a junior at Spelman College, majoring in Comparative Women’s Studies on the pre-nursing track. This fall semester is especially important for me, as I am working hard to stay on track for graduation in 2026. My journey has been filled with both determination and challenges, and I am reaching out for support to help cover my tuition for this semester.
As a mother of four, I have always balanced my responsibilities at home with my academic and professional goals. Until recently, I was working two jobs while being a full-time student, but the demands became overwhelming. Despite these challenges, I have been able to maintain a GPA of 3.51, which I am very proud of. I made the difficult decision to step away from my full-time job so I could focus on my studies and be more present for my children. While this choice has allowed me to dedicate more time to my education and family, it has also created a financial gap that I am struggling to fill.
Your support will make a direct impact on my ability to complete my junior year and move one step closer to earning my degree. Every contribution helps me continue my education, provide for my family, and set an example of perseverance for my children. Thank you for considering being part of my journey.
