Hello everyone,
My name is Summayyah Muhammad, and I am a proud mother of four beautiful children and a student at Spelman College, where I currently hold a 3.51 GPA. I’m approaching the final stretch of my college journey set to graduate in Fall 2026 and I’m asking for your support to help me reach the finish line.Becoming a nurse has always been my dream. I’m deeply passionate about caring for others and creating a better future not only for myself, but for my children. Balancing motherhood, academics, and life’s challenges hasn’t been easy, but I’ve continued to push forward with faith and determination.
Last semester, I started a GoFundMe campaign to cover a $5,000 tuition balance, and with the help of generous hearts, I was able to continue my education and finish my Junior year. Unfortunately, I recently learned that I’ve reached the $57,000 federal loan allotment limit under the new administration’s guidelines. This means I am no longer eligible for additional federal aid or eligible for any federal loans to cover my remaining tuition.
To complete my degree and finally walk across that graduation stage, I now need to raise funds to cover:
$6,000 for my Spring 2026 semester by December 13th
$16,800 for my final Fall 2026 semester January 18th
This totals $22,800, which will allow me to finish my program and earn my degree.
I know times are difficult for many, and I’m not asking anyone to give what they don’t have but any contribution, big or small, truly makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing my story or connecting me with scholarships, foundations, or organizations that support college students.
If you prefer to contribute outside of GoFundMe, you can reach out to me directly via email [email redacted] and I’ll provide information for Zelle or Apple Pay.
Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement. Every act of kindness brings me one step closer to achieving my goal and showing my children that no dream is too big when you keep faith and keep going.
With gratitude and love,
Summayyah Muhammad
