Asalamalaikum

 

My name is Summaiya. I am a single parent of 2 young children. I am a part-time primary school teacher. I work hard to run my home and be present for my children.

I studied at the University of Birmingham where I received a first class degree in Childhood, Culture and Education. I've been teaching Religious Education for 5 years and I am now on a journery back into education to develop myself for the future inshaAllah. 

Self-development has become a passion, so much that I am currently training to be a counsellor. My next step is to enroll on a parenting coaching programme with Jai Parenting Institute. It is a 7 month course and will give me the  opportunity to achieve my long-term goal and become a full-time counsellor and parenting coach.

The art of parenting is something I'm deeply passionate about, I want to take what I have learned and help others to flourish. Unfortunately I currently do not have the funds to complete this course and would appreciate any help anyone can provide me in taking this step.
