Help Sumitra Rai’s family for funeral support.

Sumitra Rai 17 year, a high school student at Fern Creek High School from Jefferson County Public School( Louisville Kentucky) passed away on 07/16/2021. Lt. Rai was in Spring Colorado with a group representing Fern Creek High School for a ROTC Rifle competition. On 7/15/2021 around 8:30 Pm she went out in Hotel’s swimming pool with her colleagues. While swimming she disappeared and never came back. Later she was found drowned and unconscious and was teken to the hospital where she pronounced dead.

Bhutanese Community as whole is very sucked to hear about this irreparable loss of young Bhutanese girl.

There is a high cost associated with the family traveling to and from Colorado, hospital expenses, Dead body hold and release expenses in Colorado and funeral expenses back in home.

please help Sumitra’s family with the part of this expenses . All of the funds will be paid directly to the funeral expenses and Monument expenses. $ 7285 will go the fern Creek funeral Homes, Contact Person Gayle Anderson Yates, [phone redacted]. $ 4424 will go to the Joy Monument Company, Contact person David Lanham, [phone redacted]. 
Bhutanese Society of KY is the community non-profit entity and is accountable for  handling the fund appropriately.Please release the fund to the Bhutanese Society of Kentucky's account.
