Sumi is our 8-month-old kitten and truly the heart of our home. She came into our lives during a time of deep struggle, as my husband and I have faced fertility issues and I continue to battle chronic depression and other health challenges. Sumi quickly became my emotional support animal, offering comfort, hope, and unconditional love when we needed it most. She is more than just a pet—she is like our baby, and her presence has brought light into our lives during some of our darkest days.

Recently, Sumi suffered a broken hip and now urgently needs surgery to heal. The thought of losing her is devastating, and we are heartbroken that we cannot afford the cost of her surgery on our own. Sumi means everything to us, and her recovery would not only give her a chance at a happy, healthy life but would also help me continue to cope with my mental health and the challenges we face as a family.
