Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,
I am reaching out with an urgent plea for help on behalf of my beloved sister, Sumaiya, who is only 29 years old and facing multiple serious health challenges. Our parents have passed away, and she is my only living relative. She has been diagnosed with abdominal adenomyosis, a painful and debilitating condition that requires an immediate hysterectomy. However, her struggles don’t end there—she is also battling prediabetes, hyperthyroid, Ovarian fibrosis, abnormal liver function, high cholesterol, disc bulge and a significantly elevated prolactin level, which may indicate a pituitary gland issue.
Her Medical Challenges
• Abdominal Adenomyosis – A severe uterus condition requiring a hysterectomy.
• Prediabetes – Impaired glucose tolerance, increasing her risk of diabetes.
• High Cholesterol (LDL: 183 mg/dL) – Putting her at risk of heart disease.
Her doctors have recommended immediate surgery, and due to potential complications, she will need to stay in the ICU for several days after the operation, followed by a 14-day hospitalisation for recovery. She also lives in a regional area and will have to travel to the main city for all these treatments.
Why We Need Your Help
My sister lives in Bangladesh (Khulna). For the operation the anesthesiologist said she definitely going to need ICU support due to her abnormal liver function and problems on her spine . During her operation she might have heart attack or liver failure. That’s why I am trying to arrange enough fund for her do operation on a good hospital like (united )in Dhaka. The cost of an ICU in a private hospital like united per day is a lot. That’s why I am raising enough fund to cover the costs. The total estimated cost of her surgery and post-operative care is $40,000, which includes:
• Surgery and hospital stay (14 days, including ICU care)
• Specialised medications and hormonal treatments
• Endocrinology and post-surgical care
• Ongoing medical tests and monitoring
