Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out on behalf of Megan and her sweet dog, Sully — a beautiful two year old Newfoundland dog, who last night, had to undergo unexpected emergency surgery due to complications from a routine neuter.
A few days after the procedure, Sully began showing signs that something was very wrong. He stopped eating, was bleeding, and couldn’t even lay down to rest. Last night, Megan rushed him to an emergency vet in St. John’s, where they discovered damaged tissue and a serious infection. He needed emergency surgery.
Sully made it through surgery but the financial cost has been overwhelming. After pet insurance, Megan is still facing over a $5,000 bill.
Megan is currently unemployed after getting laid off from her job. She’s actively applying for new jobs but her physical disability has made it especially difficult to find work quickly.
Anyone who knows Megan knows how deeply she loves Sully. He’s more than just a pet — he’s her best friend and her constant companion. When she’s feeling down, Sully gently puts his paws on her wheelchair and gives her the sweetest kisses, as if to remind her she’s not alone.
We’re asking for help to cover some of the remaining cost of Sully’s surgery so that Megan can focus on his recovery. Any amount helps, and even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
Let’s get Sully back on his paws. ❤️
