Help Suleiman and His Family Survive War & Build a New Life
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Suleiman Al-Farra, a 23-year-old Palestinian living in Gaza. Gaza is not just a place we live; it's a region suffering from ongoing siege, destruction, and war. Since childhood, I've experienced repeated bombing, displacement, and destruction, and my life, like many others here, has become a constant struggle for survival.
Since October 7, I have been displaced more than 10 times due to relentless airstrikes, and each time the suffering multiplied. But the worst happened recently when our home was completely destroyed, leaving us with nothing. Now, I live with my family in a small tent, fighting against the cold, hunger, and worsening health conditions.
My Story and Struggles:
I lost my father when I was young, and ever since, I’ve tried to be the pillar of support for my family. I grew up amidst bombings and explosions, but I always believed that life was worth fighting for. Despite the difficult circumstances, I tried to keep moving forward, but the siege and destruction have been beyond my control.
The war has stripped us of any means to live with dignity. My family and I are suffering from several illnesses due to the lack of healthcare and the deteriorating environmental conditions in Gaza. We don’t have the money to cover medical treatments or even to secure our daily food needs. Our lives now depend on aid, but these resources are very limited and insufficient to cover even the basics.
Why Am I Asking for Help?
I am reaching out because I have no other choice. My goal is to raise $30,000, a sum that can make a real difference in my life and the lives of my family. This amount will be used carefully and will be allocated as follows:
1. Building a Simple Home
Our first and most urgent need is to secure a safe and permanent shelter. A portion of the funds ($15,000) will go towards building a modest home that will protect my family from homelessness and the harsh weather conditions. It will be a simple place, but it will give us back a sense of safety.
2. Healthcare and Medical Treatment
Due to the deteriorating health conditions in Gaza, my family and I suffer from several illnesses that require immediate attention. I will allocate ($7,000) to cover medical treatment, medications, and necessary healthcare to ensure we can recover and regain our health.
3. Providing Basic Needs
Daily life requires many essentials that we currently lack. I will allocate ($5,000) to secure our daily needs such as food, clean water, and proper clothing for my family, so we can live with dignity.
4. Education and Future Support
I want to ensure that my family, especially the children, have the chance to return to school and receive the education they deserve. Part of the funds ($3,000) will help pay for school fees and supplies so they can build a better future, far from the horrors of war.
Why Am I Asking for Your Support?
I understand there are many crises and tragedies happening around the world, but I believe that kindness still exists in people’s hearts. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in our lives. I am not asking for much, just the chance to build a new life for my family, away from fear and displacement.
If you are able to help, your donation would mean the world to us. If you are unable to donate, you can still help by sharing our story with others. Even the smallest gesture can make a big difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and for standing with us during this difficult time. I pray that God blesses you in your life and rewards you for your generosity.
