Help a Yazidi Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire
A Yazidi family from Khanasor, Sinjar, who has worked tirelessly since the 2014 genocide to rebuild their lives, has suffered a heartbreaking loss. A recent fire destroyed their small shops—everything they had built over the past decade is gone.
This family, the Family of Sulaiman Kharto Hamad, did not give up after the genocide. They stayed, they worked, they rebuilt. But this fire has left them with nothing—and in nearly 500 million Iraqi dinars (approx. $380,000) of debt due to damage and loss of inventory.
We are launching this campaign to help them recover and stand on their feet once more. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings hope and stability back to a family that has already endured too much.
Please share and donate if you can.
Thank you for your support.
