Suki is our sweet, funny, and loving husky and golden retriever mix. She’s only 6 months old, but she’s already brought so much joy to our lives and to everyone who meets her. Suki has a playful spirit and a gentle heart, and she means the world to our family.
Recently, Suki got into some trouble at home and accidentally ate a bag of rat poison. We rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital, where she’s now being closely monitored. The vet told us that the amount she ingested is extremely toxic, and they are doing everything they can to help her. Suki is undergoing bloodwork and will need continued testing over the next several days. The biggest concern right now is her calcium levels—if they get too high, she could go into kidney failure. It’s a terrifying situation, and we are doing everything possible to make sure she gets the care she needs.
We are heartbroken and stressed, but we’re holding onto hope. Suki is so young and has so much life ahead of her. The costs of her emergency care and ongoing treatment are overwhelming, and we’re reaching out for help. If you’re able to donate, your support will go directly toward Suki’s medical bills and recovery. Every little bit helps, and we are so grateful for any kindness you can offer. Thank you for helping us give Suki a fighting chance.
