Help Suki Live with Addisons Disease
I brought Suki to the ER thinking I had to say my last goodbye. She was in critical condition and the vets said she was so close to dying. The vets managed to stabilize her and I also know it’s because she was fighting for her life. She’s now confirmed to have Addison’s disease.
Addison’s disease is an incurable disorder where the adrenal glands aren’t able to produce enough hormones needed to help the body function. If left untreated Addison’s diseases leads to death.
This is something my family and I never expected for baby Suki to have considering she’s only 4 months old.
Once Suki is able to come home she’ll need lifelong treatment to ensure her hormones are regulated. She’s going to need hormone replacement therapy for the rest of her life. Even though there is no cure to this disease I want to make sure she’s able to get the right treatment. And with the proper treatment she could live a life a long and happy life! Please help me by sharing this to others. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I’m sure Suki appreciates you all as well.
