My name is Suhaib Nizar Abu Saif, I am 30 years old. I speak on behalf of myself and my small family — my wife and our daughter, Lujain, who is two years old — the same age as this cursed war.
Our only goal is to build a promising future and live a dignified life, like any other family.
I worked hard for many years to build a home where my wife, my daughter, and I could live together under one roof. We built it with love, brick by brick, and filled it with hopes and dreams.
We had just begun to reap the fruits of our labor — until the devastating war broke out, a war that continues to this day…
This brutal war shattered our dreams and destroyed everything we had built.
My home became uninhabitable due to the relentless bombing and massive destruction. We tried to hold on, but like every other family here, we live in fear and uncertainty.
Today, life has become unbearable. The prices of food and basic necessities have skyrocketed to unimaginable levels. We can no longer secure even the simplest needs for survival — like healthy food, drinking water, baby supplies, clothing, and other essentials.
I’ve become unable to provide even the bare minimum for my wife and my daughter. Still, despite all we’ve been through, we continue to hold on to hope — hope that we can rebuild our lives.
I want my daughter to live like any other child in the world — to play in open green spaces filled with joy and laughter, not rubble and fear. I don’t want her to keep seeing the blood of martyred children.
We are desperately searching for a glimmer of hope, for a helping hand that can pull us out of this deep sense of loss — before we drown again in despair and helplessness.
We humbly ask for your support — not just for me, but for the future of my daughter, and for a life she truly deserves after all this pain.
