"I am Suhaib Murtaja, 32 years old, from Gaza City, Palestine. The truth is that my self-esteem has prevented me from writing here for 150 days, but waking up to the sound of heavy gunfire and our fear forced me to make this gofundme link .

I live with my good family of 13 members, including my father, mother, sisters, wife, and 3 of my children. Now, I am away from my family due to the Israeli bombing and stayed with my wife and children, and we do not have any information about my family yet. I learned that my father and younger brother were injured by Israeli bombing.

Our house was destroyed on 11/3/2023 by a missile fired by Israeli aircraft. It was a four-storey house, which was completely destroyed. We miraculously escaped death, and I and my children suffocated by poisonous gas. We took shelter in my relatives' house, which was also bombed. Now my family and I live in a makeshift tent that provides no protection from the winter cold. We lack basic necessities like water and food. We feel helpless and oppressed.Our warm home, where love brings us together, was built by my father after a long struggle and earned a huge amount of money through his hard work and dedication. Now my father is 50 years old and unable to work.

I want to help him rebuild our home back to its warmth and beautiful memories.
