Help Suedane, a Single Mom Get Life-Saving Heart Surgery

Hi my name is Annesia and I'm reaching out on behalf of an incredible woman Suedane Robinson, A 30-year-old single mother living in Jamaica, who has been through more than most can imagine.

A few years ago, after coming home from work one night, Suedane suddenly suffered a stroke, which affected the right side of her body. It was a terrifying experience, but she fought hard to recover- while continuing to care for her child with grace, resilience and love.

Recently, after years of unexplained fatigue and health issues, Suedane was diagnosed with Rheumatic heart disease, caused by an untreated case of Rheumatic fever that went undetected for years. Her condition has now progressed to the point where her heart is only functioning at 44% capacity

She urgently needs valve replacement surgery to survive.

The surgery alone will cost 2.5 million Jamaican Dollars (JMD). we have set our fundraising goal at 100,000 Canadian Dollars to also cover:
