Friends of Sue Witmer have gathered together to ask for your help! Sue lost her home during the Colorado fire that hit Superior and Louisville this past week. As many know, Sue was a Physical Education teacher at Heatherwood Elementary School, and has devoted her life to helping the homeless. Sue is one of the most generous, resilient, caring people we know.
Below is a photo of our friend, her dog Sir Tugs, and what remains of her home. Sue and Sir Tugs made it out of their neighborhood with only 20 minutes warning, leaving all her worldly possessions and beautiful handcrafted woodwork behind. Sue has been overwhelmed by the love and support that people have been offering, and while hesitant to accept help, we know she would be the first one offering others love and support if the circumstances were different.
We send thanks and prayers to the brave men and women who helped put out the fires, the community who is bringing the latest information to families awaiting updates, and our deepest condolences to all the other families facing the same situation.

The coming months will be very challenging for Sue as she rebuilds. Thank you in advance for helping in any way you can!
