Help Sue Waugh Chapman in her Battle with Cancer
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
This is Gordon, Pat, Amy, and Joanne Waugh speaking and introducing you to our niece and cousin Sue Waugh Chapman. Susan is extremely special to our family and is often referred to as our 3 daughter / Sister.
Sue is married to Darren Chapman, and they have an adult son Brendan who lives at home with them.
In 2019 Sue had a yearlong battle with Uterine Cancer having had major surgery followed by chemo and radiation. We had all hoped that that was the end of the road, but it was not to be.
Since Christmas of 2020 Sue had been dealing with significant pain which she thought was sciatica. Over the summer the pain continued to spread and finally in August, Sue had learned that the cancer had return with vengeance.
Over the last two weeks Sue has been in the hospital in Fredericton, NB and has undergone many tests. On Wednesday November 17 she is having a major 10 hr surgery in Halifax to remove a large mass in her lower abdomen and major reconstructive surgery to her hip. This will be followed by many weeks in the hospital followed by months of rehabilitation
Thankfully, Sue’s positive attitude and stubborn personality will go a long way in her battle.
This family needs helps where Sue will likely be going without her salary for the foreseeable future.
Sue has worked hard her entire life she has a great love for her family, hockey and her faith in the lord and now Sue needs the love, support, and prayers of her friends, family, and community.
Any donations made are greatly appreciated. They will used towards expenses incurred during treatment, as well as supporting her family of three in this difficult time.
