Help Sue Pay the Medical Bills
Donation protected
As you may or may not know, our dear sweet friend Sue has been through several major surgeries in the past two months. First, she had to have an emergency Appendectomy on Christmas Day, then just three weeks later was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Her first surgery was on Feb 5th. There will be follow up treatment including medication, radiation, possible future surgeries, and even possibly Chemo. We don't have all the details yet, but the medical bills are already piling up on her. She was off of work for 3 weeks and is now off again until at least February 15th.
Many of you have reached out to me to ask how you can help. I am starting this fundraiser to help Sue with her medical bills. If you have ever had a stay in the hospital or had a surgery, you know quickly the medical bills can add up. This is her second surgery in less than 6 weeks. We know between her out-of-pocket deductible, med co-pays, and prescription co-pays, that she is looking at over $10k in medical bills. This amount will increase based on the course of treatment outlined by her Oncologist in a few weeks.
Help to ease Sue's mind by donating any amount. Even small amounts add up quickly. Anything you can donate is wonderful and will help alleviate the burden of the medical expenses. If you are not sure how to donate online, feel free to reach out to me directly. I will be providing updates on her status as she fights in this life changing battle.
Thank you,
Carol
