I am Sue Murray, I live in Continental Ranch on Silver Sand Dr. Some of you may know me from the 9 years I worked at Walgreens on Twin Peaks and Coachline. In July my life went from being totally independent living with my two cats Tony and Timothy and doing a little Door Dash to being totally unable to walk, sit up, and use my hands after a sudden onset of Guillam Barre Syndrome.
This is a rare neurological disorder that hits without warning. It started with a weak right leg and in 5 days it worked it's way through my body. The good news is that with treatment you can improve, however it can take some time.
I have spent the last month in rehab and have slowly been regaing some function. i am being sent home because they say my insurance wont cover more time but i cannot provide all my care or fully care for Tony and Timothy. I have hired Right at Home to help me but do not have the money to cover all the help I will need while I continue my therapy at home. The funds will go to pay for my in home care and any additional medical equipment I might need.
anything you can donate will help. I never thought this could happen to me.
