Sue Quick, a lifelong resident of Peotone, is in need of a reliable handicap van. Sue was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1989 at the age of 26. Over the years, Sue has progressed to using a motorized wheelchair and dependent on handicap transportation. Devastatingly, her old 1980’s conversion van has finally worn out, leaving Sue without means of transportation. The van’s floors have rusted out, the liftgate is non-functional, and the van has finally become undrivable. Having a handicapped van is essential for Sue to get to and from doctor's appointments, family gatherings, and social interactions. Having proper transportation is so important for Sue's quality of life that without a means of transportation Sue is essentially isolated.
