Help Sue Get Back on the Road

My name is Sue, and I’m the only one able to work in my household. For several years, I’ve supported my family by driving for Grubhub, working long hours every week to make sure we have what we need. My husband is disabled, and I care for my two special needs daughters and my 10-year-old special needs grandson. My flexible schedule is essential for managing doctor’s appointments, therapy, school drop-offs, and the unpredictable challenges that come with caring for my family.

Recently, my car’s turbo failed, and without it, I can’t work. I’ve already been off the road for several weeks, and it’s left us with no income. On top of that, I’m dealing with severe pain and swelling in my hip and thigh, making it even harder to get by. Our rent, electric, and water bills are piling up, and while we have a little food left, it won’t last long. I’m trying to get food stamps to help, but right now, we’re struggling to cover even the basics.

Getting my car repaired is urgent so I can get back to work, support my family, and prepare my grandson for the new school year.
