Help Sue fight Esophagus Cancer
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
Our dear mom Sue received a shocking cancer diagnosis on September 5, 2023. She was diagnosed with a Stage 4 inoperable and aggressive adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. This diagnosis totally shocked all of us.
Mom is 2 years away from retirement, having worked in retail all her life and has always loved working with people. She has been a single mom having been left alone to raise us girls, since Danielle was 2 years old. She assumed the role of mom/dad head on and has raised us with very little financially and taught us to live a meaningful life of living within our means. She is the proud Meme (grandmother) of 5 wonderful grandchildren
Mom began her bi-weekly chemo treatments on Dec 5, 2023. She is a strong woman who is facing this disease head on. On her follow-up appointment with oncology in December, it was strongly recommended that she receive an additional immunotherapy treatment every 3 weeks, to combat this aggressive type of cancer that has metastasized to her liver. She is determined to beat this disease, but the cost of this additional treatment is $250,000 and is only covered at 90% through her work benefits, so she is left to pay the 10% ($25,000) out of her pocket. She is currently off work and is only supported by Employment Insurance Sick Benefits. We have reached out to the pharmaceutical company and various organizations/programs but have not been able to secure financial help. This Go Fund Me will help her receive the additional critical treatment she needs.
Mom is a quiet, loving, kind and selfless person who would not hesitate or think twice to help out her family and friends
Please consider, if you can, making a donation to support her as she begins the next steps. Your love, prayers and support means the world to us.
God Bless,
Tina, Chantal, Danielle and family xo
