Hi I'm Styles Alexander. I am a queer, Black, Bay Area based artist with and emphasis in choreography and film. I recently lost my place of residence with no time to prepare for future living arrangements. I am desperately in need of help in securing a room in the SF Bay Area, as I have artistic commitments through the rest of 2021 through the spring of 2022. Being an artist with a service industry background, during the Covid-19 pandemic (and the development of the Delta variant) has made it difficult to create financial safety and I am no longer receiving unemployment. I am in dire need of support so I can continue to offer my voice to the community that I have invested in building. I am passionate and dedicated about being a leader of the growing artistic renaissance of the SF Bay Area.

I am hoping my community, colleagues, and old friends can help me with the funds for the first, last and security deposit, to secure my living situation. All of my current funds are being allocated to survival and supporting the people who are currently keeping me safe and off of the streets, as I transition into a more permanent living situation. I am in the process of re-entering the service industry and dance teaching, but will need to find shelter until I can re-build financial stability.
